System Power Supply

Power Supply Specifications (MR3-6460P)

Output Voltage Output Current Max Special Notes
3.3 V 28 A 3.3 V & 5 V not to exceed 50 A
5 V 50 A 3.3 V & 5 V not to exceed 50 A
12 V 32 A 3.3 V, 5 V & 12 V power not to exceed 460 W

The input air temperature of the power supply cannot exceed 40 degrees Celsius. AC inrush current is specified at 35 Amps/70 Amps for 115 VAC/230 VAC, respectively.

Power Supply Summary
Total power available 460 Watts
5- and 3.3-Volt Power Used 200 Watts
12-Volt Power Used 156 Watts
Power Available using 12 Volts 100 Watts

If HC power for auxiliary devices is required, 8 Amps at 12 Volts is available for external use. A cable extender is available to provide connection to the 12-Volt supply. This is typically done with a “Y” cable commonly used in PCs to connect the power supply to the hard drives/floppy drives/CD drives.
